Our Pre-Kindergarten Program helps to better transition your child from preschool to kindergarten by incorporating educational activities that give your child more opportunities to learn, develop, grow and enjoy being a kid.  We develop lessons directed towards this age group, as well as play games and activities to reinforce and build on what your child has already learned and prepare them for the next step by implementing a routine that reflects more of a kindergarten classroom setting. 

In order to reinforce what they have learned and prepare them for kindergarten, Green Leaf teaches early phonics –reading and spelling by understanding the phonetic sound of the spelling.  Furthermore, we will teach your child how to interpret the meanings of stories, letters and sounds through concepts like drawing, retelling the story and conversation.
